The SRAM Red chainset features a completely hollow construction all the way to the spider. Its hidden bolt pattern in the drive side crank arm makes better use of carbon fibre to further improve stiffness and shed weight. Plus, to ensure seamless, flawless performance and Yaw™ front derailleur compatibility, this is paired with X-GlideR™ chainrings.
Also available with a standard Road 53/39T chainring setup, the SRAM Red 11 speed chainset is ideal for time trial and racing use, where you need ultimate acceleration to be first over the line. Or, if you're looking more an option to make climbing a little easier for longer rides, there is a semi-compact 52/36T option too.

X-GlideR Chainrings: The chainrings are designed for an optimised shifting performance with the Yaw front derailleur. The stiffer rings (5mm 7075-T6 aluminium CNC-machined) feature upshift rivets with an advanced design adopted from SRAM XX. CNC machining allows for precision control of each tooth shape, ramp, and nearly every shifting feature of the chainring.
