A lightweight and highly vented microfibre upper offers a snug but supple fit, supporting your foot throughout the pedal stroke. Meanwhile, the Anatomic Heel Cup 1.0 provides unbending support across the heel area and an anti-slip treatment prevents heel lift. 

Gaerne's Tarsal Support System 1.0. works with the Heel Cup System, and maintains the ideal foot position within the shoe, allowing for an efficient pedal stroke and unmatched power transmission. You also benefit from the EPS Comfort insole. The anatomical shape offers support and comfort, while perforations are used to regulate temperature.

Ultra-light. Ultra-thin. Ultra-Stiff. The Gaerne EPS Carbon 12.0 Sole is their top-of-the-line sole unit, offering unrivalled pedalling power transfer and efficiency. Rated 12 out of 12 on the Gaerne stiffness scale it delivers maximum watts for rapid accelerations and maintaining high speeds. 

The slim sole also keeps your foot closer to the pedal axle, delivering a more natural and efficient pedal stroke. Compared to the previous generation, this sole unit now has 9mm more cleat adjustment, letting you get your cleat position just right. 

Four-air vents also guarantee excellent airflow to the foot and anti-slip inserts at the toe and an interchangeable pad in the rear makes it easier to walk when you're off the bike. 

BOA Li2 Precision Fit

With 2 BOA Li2 dials, the Carbon G.STL can be adjusted effortlessly to your preference. The two low-profile dials allow separate adjustments to the upper and lower part of your foot, increasing comfort and security when pedalling. Twist. Adjust. Ride. 

With slim lacing, air circulation to the feet is also uncompromised and hence greater comfort in warm weather.  Boa Technology also guarantees the reels and the cables of the BOA closing system for the entire useful life of the product.

The BOA dials work with the InFit Closure System. This gives a total of six fixing zones through which the Boa laces run. This ensures a smooth application of pressure, spread across your whole foot. 

Cleat Guidance

These Road Shoes are compatible with road bike pedal systems that use cleats with 3-bolt standards, such as: Look Delta and Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, Speedplay Light Action, Zero, X-Series (via 3-hole adapter plate), Campagnolo Pro-Fit, Mavic Zxellium, Time Iclic/Xpresso and Time Impact.
