A tough polycarbonate shell gives the Macator everyday durability and this outer is bonded to an EPS foam inner. In the event of a crash, this combination provides shock absorption and protects the head from injury. The modern form-factor also sees extended coverage across the back of the head and nape area, boosting all-round protection.
Excellent safety is also matched with excellent comfort. The Zoom Ace Urban adjustment system lets you dial in the fit precisely to your head shape, and a full-ring encloses the head to provide security and comfort on the go. You'll also be pleased to find ventilation is also superb. A total of 13 air vents, 5 to the front, 8 to the side and rear, keep cool air circulating as you pedal along. And if you want to keep the sun out of your eyes, or head off-road, the Macator comes with a removable visor.
